I've always been so excited whenever dUck launches a new printed shawl (the dUck war tho, not so much) so when they announced that the new dUck in the city series was going to be the Singapore skyline, boy was I super excited. The Singapore skyline is my favourite view of this entire city and it just has a sense of calamity whenever I look at it.
I'm proud at how Singapore has made it's mark in the world and how it's (almost) number one in everything but of course it comes along with a whole lot of expectations. I'm definitely feeling the pressure, working in the public health sector and how the public demands fast, efficient and quality service and nursing care but forget that there is only so much we can do as human beings. Of course, I'll save that topic for another time. For now, let's just enjoy the perks of being Singaporean and appreciate the little things that's granted to us.
